Karen is really wonderful to work with. As someone who is overweight and new to working out I was worried that personal training would be too rigorous but Karen has met me where I’m at and created a program that really fits me. She is very knowledgeable and I feel safe because she knows exactly which muscles are doing what and she’s great at gently correcting my form to keep me safe. 3 months! That is all it took. Going in my goals were not super specific, I just wanted to be in shape, and able to channel my stress energies into something positive and beneficial. I’ve been working out with Doug for a little over a month, and it’s been a great experience so far! I’ve never worked with a personal trainer before, so initially I was a little nervous. Doug is an excellent personal trainer! When I stand in a neutral position, I have an excessive curve in my back (technically called anterior pelvic tilt). This makes it difficult to activate certain muscles and can cause long term problems. After one of my first sessions with Doug, he sent me videos on different exercises and stretches I can do outside of our sessions to correct this over time. I didn't ask him to do this. He found these resources on his personal time for my benefit. He always pays attention to my form and not only shows me ways to adjust my form, but also explains why (e.g. he explains what my muscles were doing before and what they should be doing during the exercise). He's also very personable! I would definitely recommend working out with Doug.

Every evening i had to sent him a screenshot of my daily intake, also he knew exactly what my weight should be by the end of the week .
