I love my fireplace again. The tile install Robert did is meticulous. He was very detailed during the install and organized and left my place clean after each day's work. He answered my questions and helped me make an informed decision about the layout. He was on time, communicated about any possible setbacks and generally just did a fantastic job. I will ask him to do more projects. Thank you Robert!

Robert Mattern is a highly experienced professional whose work is thoughtful, thorough, and exacting. He is open to discussing all aspects of the job and answers all questions and concerns in a calm, clear and educating manner. The tiling job he did at my home while difficult in some areas especially around my small gas fireplace and kitchen window, is absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend Mattern Tile and Stone Creations.

I furnished materials for my job and sure enough, I furnished the wrong cork tile adhesive. Robert came back the same week and made a terrific looking repair of the installation. Fast and friendly. I’d use him again. Wanna look at my cork wall?
