Dave worked with us to figure out what we could do within our budget and did a beautiful job on our concrete. He and his staff were great with our four-year-old son, letting him watch and finding him safe concrete tools to play with in the dirt.

Very Happy :) Dave was very responsive via text or email as well as punctual and professional. He was also accommodating when I asked if he could create organic shapes/edges on our walkways that would match our existing concrete motif. He matched the old concrete's style perfectly! All of the work is super professional and looks awesome - we are excited to use our new concrete spaces!

I called Dave on Tuesday needing some extensive repair work on the block walls of two of the condo units I live in. He was able to look at the job the next day, give me a good quote for the work and do the job the following day, which fit my tight timeline. They required Special Inspections by an engineer per the county, which had to be coordinated with the Special Inspector. Dave did an amazing job, matching the blocks around the plumbing in the kitchens, was completely familiar with the inspection process and worked with the inspector on the timing for the inspection. He passed the inspections with no problems. I would definitely recommend him for any type of block or concrete work.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The project details affect the cost. To be less confusing I no longer have an estimate sheet available to new customers. Its better to use the technology of us have now at our fingertips. Remember the adage "A picture is worth 1000 words" which came into being long before cell phones!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I travel to the new customer's location for a meeting. We discuss what the customer wants. I measure and take notes including their email address. Then I go back to the office to create an estimate and a formal quote to email over.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in civil engineering. It helps in this work with math, spreadsheet solutions and contract law. The experience is more helpful. Concrete contracting does not require much more than 3rd grade math and grammar...
