Introduction: Streamline Interiors provides interior design and decorating services for people who seek functional beauty in their home. We believe organization is vital to the design. Our goal is to create spaces that improve your lifestyle. We want to design a home environment that reflects what is important to you by surrounding you with the things you love. Our design services cater to our clients' needs. We can work with what you already have, as well as select new items and finishes to create a cohesive look. You can expect creative ideas to fit your desired style and budget. My services are also available online locally and across the USA. The online services require a little more effort on my client’s part, by having them take and send photos and dimensions rather than me doing that work in person. I love helping clients save time and money while creating the home of their dreams. Interior design is my passion and I am grateful to help people while doing what I love.

I had never used an interior decorator before, but I was in desperate need of some help. We had remodeled our master bathroom about a year ago and although we loved the granite we had chosen, it just didn't fit right with the color scheme of the rest of the bathroom. We were at a point that we were actually considering replacing the granite. I'm so glad we never had to go down that path. Michelle came over and suggested we change the color on the walls to something that would pull the granite, travertine, and decor together. She did a fabulous job at finding the right color. She also made some wonderful suggestions on decor and how certain colors would complement the granite even more. Because our master bath is open to the master bedroom, she suggested we push the color to the master bedroom as well. It flows beautifully. She also suggested moving our bedroom furniture around to utilize the space better. Wow! What a difference. Michelle has a great eye for color and really works with what you already have to make it even better. She was able to understand my sense of style and build upon that without me having to spend hours going through photos that conveyed my style. Who has time for that? My only regret is that I didn't call Streamline Interiors sooner. I love my "new" master bathroom and bedroom! I'm looking forward to using Michelle again in a couple of months to help with our kitchen remodel. I'm excited to see what she has in store for us on this project!

Streamline Interiors did an amazing job organizing my closet with so many great functional and affordable ideas. They did everything I wanted and were able to stay under budget. Michelle has a keen eye for interior design and can turn a room into something stylish that expresses the owner's personality. Michelle helped me decorate my downstairs living room and dining room that incorporated my design wants and budget needs. She even came up with additional inspirational ideas I had not thought of that added the design impact I was looking for. I can't tell you how many compliments I receive from people who come to my home telling me how beautiful and stylist my condo is. I often hear from neighbors that I have the nicest condo in the complex. I recommend Michelle to all my friends who are looking for interior design help.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My clients purchase all items directly rather than purchasing them through me at a marked-up rate. I know how and where to shop to save my clients money.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A scope of work is created, and a contract is drafted for each client. For the initial consultation we meet at the project site to view the space, review the scope of work and talk over ideas. The next step involves designer research to find selections that will work specifically for that client’s project. A few options are presented to the client for feedback and the design builds from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
It seems like I have always had a passion for interior design. I have enriched my talent through education at Scottsdale Community College, where I earned an Associate in Applied Science in Interior Design. My previous work experience includes over a decade in the construction industry for a residential home builder and a commercial general contractor. I also have held an Arizona real estate license for 19 years.
