I have worked in and around computers since 1990. My time with Honeywell got me exposed to how computers work with complex systems like fire and life safety and access control and alarm systems. As an enthusiast I love setting up micro networks within larger networks of machines making home networking seamless. giving new life to older machines. I love when a customer tells me this computer is just too slow. With the availabilty and cost of todays components that slow old laptop thought almost unusable with a 4 minute boot time can be reduced to around 30 seconds or less for under $200. Customers are amazed what a 1 hour repair can do.
