About
Alex and Elena are co-owners of Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation, and have a passion for residential HVAC, home construction, design, but more importantly, energy efficiency. They both hold degrees from ASU in Design Studies with an emphasis on the Built Environment. Alex started his career fresh out of college installing solar photovoltaic panels and building new home construction in the Valley. Elena started her career in HVAC, conducting energy audits, installing insulation and duct systems. The both take pride in the work that the Ideal Crews do and ensure Ideal's HVAC and home performance installations are completed with quality. They both are big on training their teams and make sure that integrity as at the root core of their business and team members. They are always learning new ways to make homes operate more efficiently and comfortable. Alex also teaches classes to other HVAC contractors here locally. They are hands on and work closely with their teams on a daily basis!

I am quite impressed with the quality of their work.I recently had 2 new Trane heat pumps and air handlers installed. I selected Ideal based on their reputation and lack of BBB complaints.They took extra care to ensure a quality installation, including:-- Filling the copper lines with nitrogen when brazing to prevent copper oxide inside the lines-- Running a new refrigerant line because the original line diameter was not to spec-- Upsizing the return register and the ducting in the attic to optimize efficiency.None of the other companies mentioned these factors in their quotes.Their three-man crew was in the house for 2 full days, always respectful and ready to explain everything they were doing. Everything under the attic access was covered, and everything was clean when they were done.I spent a lot of money on this upgrade, but the quote was in line with other companies, and the final installation is top-notch.
