* Reviewed computer title records and acquisition documents to determine the type or character of title received and examined survey to determine effect on state entitlement and state ownership records
* Calculated property boundaries and updated land status maps; performed field inspections; reviewed blueprints, charts, and other records available to complete projects and plot specified sites on maps
* Updated cadastral's land status maps to conform to current title, lease, right of way and sales records by use of PALMS (department mapping system software) and AutoCAD software; i.e., department meetings and court exhibits
* Prepared land legal descriptions for litigation settlements by surveying land with survey equipment "total station, transits", levels, and electronic measuring devices for location of state lands
* Reviewed and checked surveys, urban land development plans for parcel calculations, angles, distances and closures from maps, field notes and legal descriptions
* Took aerial photographs on lands for status checking and court presentations
