- What types of customers have you worked with?
The majority of our work is water damage related. Most often, a water damage loss occurs when a water heater leaks, a toilet overflows, a supply line bursts or a pipe leaks in the wall or slab. We also run across quite a bit of mold remediation work when a pipe has been leaking long term in a wall or behind or under cabinets.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Just because your insurance company has recommended a provider, it doesn't mean you have to use them. Your insurance company will tell you they only guarantee the work of XYZ Contractor, and if you hire anyone else, you are on your own. But, the Registrar of Contractors requires all licensed contractors guarantee their work. You still have the protection of a guarantee, no matter who you hire. Would you rather have a guarantee from the contractor who works for your insurance company, or the contractor who works for you?
