Connor is an amazing pianist and a patient teacher. He passes on his love of music to all around him.Jul 21, 2018
He is so patient and knowledgeable. It is great to have the option to learn in his studio or via Skype.Jul 21, 2018
Connor Chee is one of the most talented pianist and composers I know. It was a great pleasure recording Connor in our studio. He is a great instrumentalist and has a great knowledge of music theory. Connor is very pleasant and great to work with, and he is a valued member of the recording academy (Grammy) community. I strongly recommend his services.Jul 20, 2018
Conner Chee is the best piani teacher I ever had. He was supportive, motivating and consistent. He's undoubtedly the best pianist I've ever had the pleasure to hear perform and anyone would be lucky to be his student. My only regret is that I didn't take our lessons more seriously.Jul 6, 2016
I have known Connor since he was a child at School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati. Connor was an inspiration to my daughter who was also in the piano department, as well as her best friend. He excelled at everything he did, always making good grades and winning every competition he was in. He has always been ahead on talent and maturity. I highly recommend Connor for a piano teacher. You will not be disappointed.Jul 6, 2016
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer 30-minute, 45-minute, and 1-hour lessons. My lessons are a fixed monthly price, which takes into account holidays and vacations. I teach in your home, or in mine. If you need a different payment plan, I'm happy to discuss options that work for you! I also occasionally have promotional offers. Students can also earn free lessons by referring new students that sign up. Books are not included, but are very affordable, and many scores are available online (legally) for free!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first lesson, we cover what your personal goals are, and start to evaluate your learning style. From here, we can choose the type of music you want to learn, the concepts you need to cover in lessons, and the repertoire that will give you a well-rounded background in music.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Starting in the fourth grade, I attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, where I graduated with a certificate in instrumental music. I have a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the Eastman School of Music, and earned my Master of Music in Piano from the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music. I also attended the Chautauqua Institution's summer piano program twice. I have taken courses in Piano Pedagogy at both the undergraduate and graduate level. I also taught class piano at the Eastman School of Music and University of Rochester.
