I have a Master of Arts degree with four years of experience as a Community College Academic Advisor and Career Coach.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a Community College Academic Advisor and Career Coach, both colleagues and students sought me out for resume review and advice. This often involved editing and polishing up what they already had. When the district started to cut back on our hours, I started supplementing my income with resume writing services through Thumbtack, which ultimately led me to a new career.
