- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to start beginning singers with 30 minute lessons so that my students muscle memory has a chance to develop; then we can move up in time from there as appropriate for your growth. My fee is $40 per 1/2 hour and most students choose to pay $160 at a time to reserve their time each week. I do require a 24 hour notice of cancellation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to hear a singer SING! When you come to my studio we will talk about your goals, we'll sing, and then start working on your goals. My goal is to sing songs you like to sing and in the process work in some technique and theory to enhance your skills. We will record your lessons so that you can practice at home. If, at that time, you feel we are a good fit for your journey then we will pick a regular weekly time. VIOLA!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied music formally since I was 12 and graduated from Indiana University with my music degree in 2000. I have been teaching/coaching since I was a teenager. Additionally, I have performed all over the US and in Europe across multiple genres.
