- How did you get started doing this type of work?
While I was getting my MBA, I decided to hone in on my niche and practice my learned skills by co-founding an eCommerce company as the Web and marketing executive. I quickly gained a passion for the work I was doing and decided that I wanted to give other businesses access to the same set of services. I launched Invata Global Marketing as a vehicle for delivering those services.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
One recommendation I have is to seek out the provider that is right for your particular business. While that may seem obvious in theory, many business owners tend to go after the "biggest and best" or the "least expensive and most available," only to find out months later that it wasn't a great fit at all. Meanwhile, precious time, money, and energy were spent getting you nowhere. This actually applies to both business owners and providers, so we have found it effective to have an initial consultation to see if the match is good for all parties involved. You might be surprised at the level of time, money, and energy that can be saved through a 30-minute conversation.
