Referencing to the Olson review.. I was wondering how anyone can write a review and place it on here about a job that wasn't hired through this site. Shouldn't reviews be strictly from customers who's services were rendered through Thumbtack? I think perhaps the customer jumped the gun before obtaining the correct permits and had these guys build the beautiful fence. Both parties agreed to having the fence built to city codes. It's a shame the customer did not have their homework done and knew the correct information prior to building their fence. It wasn't city code after all, it was county. Big disappointment and loss of money for all parties involved. They did however, love their fence.

Thank you Richene, although I don't believe we've met and I'm a little confused with how you seem to know so much about our Olson's Job and or customer if you may. Its obvious you know what's going on with their perimeter fence/pool fence job that is in question and is in the follow review below. We appreciate your input and your genuine concern for both parties. It all boiled down to two things really. The customers push to start the project without a permit and/or proper specs and the County having the Authority to Supersede the City and State Codes. As you already know, we asked the customer what City they were considered to be in and the response was City of Phoenix. We had thought they were Scottsdale and all along we were to actually follow the County Codes. We were good as far as the City of Phoenix was concerned and same goes for the State. But we were not according to the County was concerned. Thank You, Matthew Mobley Brian Vanderford

Wanted to formally say thanks for helping my dad, via a remote request. I'm in CA my dad's in AZ, I need help to install custom hand rails at the house as my he transfers from wheel chair to transport chair in garage area. We needed a very sturdy hand rail. I contacted Brian after searching for a fabricator and he was very responsive to my request and feel great about the work he provided. He sent photos of progress along with finished project. He not only installed a custom hand rail, but also was able to help in fixing a number of damaged drywall corners in the house and then installing protective acrylic plastic to help it be more durable. Thanks for great response time along with fair prices! Your a pro at a reasonable cost. Thanks, I would recommend Brian and Eric.

Brian does great work. However, the beautiful fence is 9 inches short of pool barrier code and needs to be redone in order for us to move forward with our pool project

I got Brian's name off of Craigslist and he emailed me right away. I was looking for someone to duplicate a fence that I saw. I sent Brian pictures and he successfully recreated it in record time and made a matching gate with a rustic patina. Just on its own,, the fence is an attractive barrier between our house and the neighbor's. I'm planning to put jasmine and honeysuckle vines that will crawl along the fence and hopefully it will be the centerpiece of my garden. Brian' s a nice guy, but he could polish up his customer service skills. There was a little confusion when we thought Brian was going to build the fence entirely at our house, but he made it at his shop and then installed it. Other than that, I'm very pleased with his work.
