Introduction: We make sure the client has a wonderful time interacting with the animals and that the animals have no stress while being petted and loved by the client. Our animals are just as important to us as our clients. We educate as well as entertain. I love my animals. I have never had a job that I loved so much. Kids and animals, you can't have a better job than that. I also like teaching the children about the exotic animals we have and definately like teaching compassion for our furry friends.

i always have a large easter party for my staff and their families and friends. AZ down under always brings out their petting zoo to the amazement for all who attend. they have different animals every year which is really fun. highly recommend

Our school hired Sherry and her exotic petting zoo twice and every age absolutely loved their exotic and friendly animals. They were the star attraction! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any event, whether it be school or party/private. They were affordable, flexible, reliable, timely, well prepared and delivered more than expected.

Arizona Down Under Exotic Petting Zoo has brought their family of animals to our community on several occasions, each time with rave reviews from our residents and staff. The residents love the way the animals interact with them and their grandkids, always gentle and welcoming. They also appreciate the cleanliness of the animals and the entire display area. Staff are also happy at how respectful the zoo is sharing our grassy areas; when they pack up and leave there is no evidence that they were ever there .. except the smiles left behind.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing system is quite simple. We charge 150.00 per hour with a two hour minimum and a 4 hour maximun. Milage will be charged if venue is over 25 miles from home at $1.00 per mile. In other words the first 25 miles are free. Anything over is $1.00 per mile. We do ask for a 50% deposit to hold the date. The earlier you call the better chance you have of getting the date and time you want.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are always learning about new exotic animals that may be good for our zoo. They must be people friendly so we are constantly researching and also learning how to better care for the animals we already have.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We moved to a farm and it just happened. We started taking in animals that people didnt want and some that we got from a friend who has an education program. When they get too big for her in her program she would give them to us. They are socialized at an early age and love people. We decided to share our love for them with others and decided to open a mobile petting zoo and do kids parties. Since then we have done much more.
