Hard to work this kind of irresponsible person. We met once at site and discuss the work ,then he promise he will send the temporary plan and estimate with in 3-4 days . I texted and call couple time but till do. No response from him. I will never ever contact him, if you can then please request on my belt to send back my drawings. Thanks & have a great morning. Mr. Sheth's comments are partially correct. Mr. Sheth wanted to hire a professional to provide him with Tenant Improvement designs, permit and construction documents. I met with him at his building location to discuss his project and he provided me with copies of drawings of a proposed plan, he wanted these plans developed to an advanced stage which he is calling temporary drawings. Mr. Seth and I came to an agreement on the cost of my services based upon area information he provided. The area Mr. Seth stated was 10% less than the actual area, this discrepancy and fee increase was never made into an issue. Mr. Sheth was informed that preliminary documents could be provided in 2-3 days but a retainer was necessary to start. He stated he did not have his checkbook with him but he would mail a check immediately the next morning. The check was never received. Mr. Sheth was informed of this delay causing condition but he never sent the retainer. I do not consider myself hired for a project and I do not provide services or release any plans until a retainer is received. Notification of a negative review was the first contact I've had from Mr. Sheth since he was notified the retainer was never received. I provide services after being hired, a condition of being hired is receiving a retainer, otherwise a client and take the unpaid information/design to another firm and attempt to further the projects progress without paying for the previous work. Mr. Sheth's own comments was that he provided me with copies of drawings, which he did. Where did these drawings come from and why did he not continue with that individual/firm? Now that I know my Sheth's intention is not to send a retainer, I would be more than happy to return the copies of the plans he provided, all he needs to do is provide me an address to send them to. Mr. Sheth needs to be aware that professional services are not free and need to be paid for. If he is not willing to pay for the service he has no right to complain about not receiving the service. I needed assistance with a CAD drawing and did not want to purchase the expensive software. The time it would take to learn the software would have also made it difficult to complete my project in a timely manner. I met with Roman and discussed my project with him. He is very knowledgeable with the CAD software and the building industry. My client needed multiple edits to the drawing to accommodate their personal changes and Roman did a wonderful job with each and every revision. He is my go-to for all my CAD detail drawings from this point forward!
