FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I began this work after seeing how stressful and expensive litigation can be for families and businesses. With a background in law and conflict resolution, I wanted to create a process where people could resolve disputes respectfully, efficiently, and with more control over the outcome. Mediation allows me to help clients find common ground, reduce conflict, and move forward in a healthier way.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One project I am especially fond of was helping two parents who were struggling to agree on a co-parenting plan. Tensions were high at the start, but through structured conversations and focusing on their children’s needs, we were able to create a parenting schedule that worked for both of them. I was proud to see the shift from conflict to collaboration and to know the outcome will benefit their children for years to come.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice is to look for a mediator who values neutrality, respects confidentiality, and truly listens to both sides. A good mediator won’t push their own agenda — instead, they’ll guide the conversation so both parties feel heard and can work toward a solution that lasts. Ask about the mediator’s background and approach to ensure it fits your needs. Mediation works best when you feel comfortable and confident in the person helping you through the process.
