Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My work stands out because it is rooted in total and complete love of what I do! I have no attachments, and with a very strong and lengthy career in planning (I've been doing events since I was 19!) there really isn't any venue or city nationally or internationally that I'm not able to support. I have been called psychic and intuitive on many an occasion as I always have my "Girl Scout" plan in hand, always be prepared! I like people, and I like when I can support an idea, person or organization no matter how strange or random the experience creating a win-win for everyone involved. Its a win for me, in that I'm being compensated for what I love to do, and it's a win for them as they are working with one of the smartest working women in the Event/Sponsor/Social Media Industry. Also, I just don't take no for an answer and will always find a way to make the client ecstatic about their choice!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I didn't, it actually chose me. I started doing volunteer work in HS which led me to work with large organizations, like the MS Society, the Harlem Hospital, and the Girl Scouts and continued to plan and do events in college (Mount Holyoke, MA) and really spread my wings in SGA, and on campus with a myriad of events every year I was there. After I graduated, I just continued...and have not stopped since!

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

My most common types of jobs are un-common and usually the one's no one else would take. They are usually very short on time, meaning the planning window is short, and they are traditionally highly complex, in that I am managing and working with multiple parties, not just vendors, but the venues, sponsors and often tv/film/video providers as well.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would suggest that a customer has an idea of what they want to accomplish and a clear conversation of why they want to accomplish it. In terms of the details, that's where I come to the table, and have a keen capacity to support just an idea...the rest is in the hands of the Ambassador of Kwan, me.
