FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a graduate education and more than 7 years in doing professional portrait photography. I trained at the International Academy of Wedding Photographers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My children are and always will be my biggest inspiration, and are the reason I became trained in the art of photography. Life happens too fast, and I want to remember all of it; the belly laughs, stomach butterflies, tears of joy, and feelings of pride. Over the past two years, I have transitioned into wedding photography, and realized I am a believer of true love, and feel honored to be able to capture those emotions for families to keep forever in portraits that are sincere, honest and intimate.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure to check out each providers webpage, and not just images on the profile. Get a feel for the photographer's style and feel confident that you know what to expect when you select that photographer (if there are a variety of styles in their portfolio, you might not be clear on what type of style you will receive). Also check out reviews (keeping an open mind that sometimes you can't please everyone).
