Brett made the drive from Tempe to Casa Grande to service my dad's air conditioner. Brett was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained to me how an air conditioning system works and showed me what was in need of repair. Before Brett came out, I had one other HVAC technician that had already looked at my dad's air conditioner. This other tech told me my dad's air conditioner needed to be replaced. So I thought, I should get a second opinion. After Brett looked at my dad's air conditioner, he told me what needed to be fixed at this time and he told me the air conditioner should last at least another two years and it did not have to be replaced at this time. I enjoyed talking with Brett and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of air conditioning service.

Air duct cleaning. I'm very happy with the work that was performed. The tech was on time and respectful in my home. The price was far better than large chains were quoting for the same work. Definitely worth it to use a local company!

The problem was the apparent sudden death of an 80 gallon Rheem water heater. I initially called Ready Services but, as luck would have it, they weren't ready ... so I hit up Thumbtack ... and got Brett. He had to come from Scottsdale to Lincoln Heights, pretty much on a moments notice and managed it in less than two hours. It took him less than an hour to resuscitate the Rheem ( when he really could have gotten away with telling me to replace it ). At the end of the ordeal He billed me $180 bucks ... instead of the $225 he originally quoted ... not bad at all. I may be forced to adopt him ... just to keep a good service guy around.

Brett and he is team did a fantastic job. I needed to have all the duct work in the attic completed. They showe up on time and worked over 14 hours to get it replaced and my A/C back on and working. They were professional and friendly and made sure to clean up after themselves. I highly recommend them to anyone!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was introduced to this trade by my older brother who had already been in the trade for several years prior to me in the state of Florida. One day we got together and just started working together. He was my first instructor and then I decided to enroll at The Refrigeration School here in Phoenix back in 1989.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

We service, repair and replace heating and cooling equipment including hot water heaters.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

One question I would ask someone like me who showed up at my door to "repair" my heating/cooling system would be, "How long have you been in the trade?" and "What did you do before you got into this trade?" Be cautious of the service tech with a lengthy sales background.
