Really great experience! Loved how easy it was to book. Our session was fast and furious (just what I wanted). Jason was ready with different poses and backgrounds. He knew several beautiful areas to photograph and made sure we had many different combinations, since we are from out of state that was really helpful! It was amazing how much he captured in a short time. Our gallery had 92 photos that he got in just 30 minutes. Loved that I could pick the photos I wanted to keep but I got the whole gallery instead.

Impressive portfolio, and professional conduct! This rating is to reflect on the latter, and also to provide context to a 1-star rating that this photographer was pretty undeniably unfairly assigned with. I'm not a friend or family member to Jason, instead, I'm just observing his conduct a business owner. Being a small business owner comes with its unique sets of challenges (our family knows this well). I've seen some other businesses handle themselves unprofessionally in tough situations, but I can honestly say that I'm impressed at how this photographer and small business owner chose to go about handling a tough issue-- by turning to fellow small business owners for helpful suggestions. Now, I'm admittedly a person who runs late chronically, and it sounds like Jason is very punctual and sticks to schedule, as a professional photographer should. That said, as a client of his or any appointment-based scheduled service business, if I ran late, I'd feel *very* frustrated (even getting ready for a portrait session can be very stressful and frustrating). But, ultimately, I'd have the self-awareness that any frustration I'd have would be with *myself* and I have the humility to acknowledge that. I would not choose to put it on the photographer I had scheduled with. It can be really damaging when someone unfairly projects their frustrations onto someone who is simply not at fault, especially when they really do make the effort to help in light of the situation they were not the cause of. The context of the 1-star review was shared with other business owners on a Facebook page in a very honest and transparent way, simply looking for suggestions to mediate an unfortunate situation with the nature of ratings. I asked him if I may share screen shots of his post, and he agreed. His portfolio and conduct are two big reasons I'd recommend his work! Please see pics attached.... We had a 30 minute maternity photoshoot with Jason, and it was an absolute joy! Being 37 weeks pregnant, I wanted to do a shorter session, as I get tired quickly, and despite the time constraint, Jason managed to capture a variety of beautiful shots. He made us feel very comfortable and guided us through the poses, so the entire experience was seamless and enjoyable. I highly recommend Jason to anyone looking for a skilled and empathetic photographer!
