Introduction: Hi, my name is Eduardo Costa! I'm a first prize winner in 10 International guitar competitions, performed at the iconic Carnegie Hall and have a Doctorate in Music. I performed at hundreds of weddings, corporate events, private parties, home concerts, etc. My goal is to provide a wonderful musical atmosphere for you and your guests. I'm very easy to work with and will impress your guests with exquisite guitar music. I have the skills to "wow" your guests without being loud, comfort is my mantra. I've been taking guitar lessons from Dr. Costa for a little over a year now. I've had 13 years of classical piano lessons as a child, and a year of classical guitar lessons a few years ago while I was living in WI.As many people know, Dr. Costa is a world class performer with 10 international competition victories - so having the opportunity to take lessons with him as an amateur is a rare opportunity in itself. But on top of that, I've found that he's also great at explaining musical concepts, with tons of very effective practice techniques. He's also very easy going. I travel a lot for work and things are always coming up, and he's always been very understanding and flexible with accommodating my schedule.I've become a far better guitarist thanks to Eduardo. If you live in Tucson and want to learn classical guitar, there's really no other person that you should turn to for lessons

Eduardo is not only a beautiful guitar player, but he is also a very nice person with the right manners. I was charmed by his play, and I wasnt in to this style of music at all! Now I love it, and still can see his fingers quickly moving when I listen to his CDs. He is really one of the gems of Tucson, and Ill recommend him to anyone who needs a fine guitarist. Thank you again for your wonderful and colorful music, and Ill look forward to an opportunity to see you play live again.

I have been a music student for many years and I can honestly say that Eduardo is the best music teacher I have ever had. His approach to the guitar is amazing and his instruction has greatly improved my guitar playing. In addition he is a great person who truly cares for others. I always look forward to our weekly lesson.

Eduardo has been the best teacher I have had. His depth of knowledge about the guitar and his understanding of music from all aspects always impresses me to a great extent. I cannot say enough about his ability as an experienced performer, teacher and friend. Working with him is a partnership with each of us having respect for eachother's ability, which is very rare in this type of student/teacher relationship. One cannot help but to improve greatly under his tutelage.
