- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to be as upfront as possible with the customer to let them know what the total cost is going to be to them so that there are no surprises. Although I do not formally offer any discount pricing, my low-overhead business structure allows me to typically be priced lower than my peers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the very least, I like to talk to them over the phone so that I can ask them what questions I need to get a good sense of the job. Often, I will end up making a trip out to physically look at the job so that I can give them the most realistic price estimate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started out working in the HVAC industry in Phoenix whole going to trade school at night. Doing both at the same time really helped to solidify some fundamental concepts to the industry and helped to make me a better tech.
