- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I list all materials, labor, overhead and profit in a detailed estimate. Every site is different so I tend to shy away from going with a standard square foot price based on size alone. You will know exactly what you are paying for with a BS&T bid.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have the Client provide a brief description of job over the phone or via email, Provide an approximate quote for review, arrange site visit if bid is considered, refine design and clarify details, provide a firm estimate, sign contract, collect deposit, schedule project.
