Denny has a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of New Mexico (UNM).
Denny has learned and studied from master teachers such as Jackie Burke, Mac O'Grady, Homer Kelley, Lynn Blake and Chuck Evans. Denny is a class A Southwest section PGA teaching professional, has obtained the level of GSEB "Golf Stroke Engineering Bachelor" of The Golfing Machine and also received a certification as a Medicus Golf Institute Master Instructor.
Denny's golf library of great instructors and great players is unmatched.
How Denny Teaches
Denny uses the high-speed/slow-motion video cameras (60 to 1200 fps) and thousands of dollars in teaching aids. The first thing Denny will do is video your swing. Denny will diagnose your swing faults if any. Then, with the help of drills and teaching aids and constant video feedback, you will build a more efficient swing.
Most golfers can't readily identify their swing errors and even if they could, they probably don't know how to fix them. Denny has the knowledge and the teaching aids to accomplish this for you.

Denny Alberts is the best golf instructor I have worked with in over 40 years as a golfer. He can teach either by diagnosing problems and fixing them or by constructing a golf swing from the ground up. He takes his students as he finds them and leaves them far better golfers than they could have imagined. He is a great diagnostician, is completely open minded but as knowledgeable as one can be about the physics and biomechanics of the golf swing. And he loves to teach. He views teaching as fun and educational for him. He loves to share and to bring his students along. He has an unbelievably large collection of teaching aids and his approach is to use the aids to make it impossible for you to do anything but swing correctly. Then he wants you to learn what the correct swing feels like. Feel from proper mechanics. I have been a low handicap golfer all my life but i have never hit the ball better than I have since working with Denny. The very best.

Denny really helped me with my golf game. He was knowledgeable on all aspects of the game and helped me lower my handicap by at least 10 strokes. I just can't say enough great things about these lessons. His use of video and analysis really helped me to know what I was doing wrong. In addition he had TONS of great practice techniques that I could try on my own. They were easy to remember and I saw great results from trying them out.

Denny is an amazing instructor. My 10th grade son started taking weekly lessons a couple months ago and already has a much better looking swing than my own. Denny took some videos of my swing, compared it to my son's, his own and some pros. Gave me a world of advice. Seeing how well my beginner son did in such a short time, I had to sign up for some lessons myself, lest I be left behind. After, just a couple lessons, so far, my swing, stance, grip etc. is greatly improved. I highly recommend Denny as a golf instructor that will undoubtedly help you greatly improve your game.
