I believe my photography style combines two worlds to create a timeless and soft candid look.
I love the photojournalistic side. I find myself thriving in the unplanned, creative territories that you can't map out.
I love candidly capturing the laughter and fun of getting ready, and I love snapping away at all the little details a couple would ordinarily miss out on during the course of a day.
My goal is to always find and capture the natural moments infused with real emotion.
If I had to describe my style, I would say I am a storyteller who wants to create art for my bride and groom to cherish for years to come.

Tara is the BEST! we planned our wedding out of state so did not have the opportunity to do an engagement shoot or meet her prior to the wedding. Come wedding day, its like she had already known exactly what our personalities were like and what was important to capture on our day. She was so efficient during family portraits which is crucial especially when there are a lot of people to round up. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable taking pics and mind you, she got our photos back to us in less than TWO WEEKS! Do not skimp on a wedding photographer, these pictures are so meaningful and they turned out like a vogue catalog thanks to Tara! Thank you so much!!

We used Tara for my daughters senior portrait shoot. I showed my daughter all of the Thumbtack options and let her choose. Tara was friendly and easy to talk to on our initial consultation. I was not there for the actual photo shoot, but my daughter was happy. We will not have actual photos to view for another week, at that point I could give another review. For now though, we are pleased.

I found terra through thumbtack to do my newborn photography. She did an AMAZING job, was very patient with my little guy and us well. The photos came out great and they were sent to me in a timely manner. I loved that she came to the comfort of our own home and brought all her props with her as well as let us use our own. There were certain poses we wanted and she was open to all our suggestions. I would highly recommend Terra to anybody looking for a great affordable photographer!
