• What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

  I like to negotiate a fixed fee with my clients. It is the best way for me to iterate to a service that produces tremendous value in my clients' eyes.

• What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

  I write relevant academic papers for publication and satisfy IRS continuing education requirements.

• How did you get started doing this type of work?

  I was in the Air Force stationed at Yakota AFB outside of Tokyo. I helped my friends do their tax returns and increase their refunds by deducting their moving expenses. I realized I enjoyed that experience. The base library had a career card for tax consultant. I knew then that's what I wanted to become.
