Introduction: First off due to my full-time employment I work on an "appointments only" schedule. I have been wanting to branch out and get more shoots with people, places and other activities. I like wildlife, nature, sports and portrait photography. I am more of a real life photographer. I like to have my clients doing something in which they have an interest. I do not have a studio location, however, I do own studio equipment which I can bring to you or a location that you and I agree upon. My goal years ago was to make you more conformable in your portrait and bring the studio to you. I have seen that at that time most people I talked with found it a bit of a hassle to have to get your hair and make up done, the family packed into the car and drive to the studio. In the Arizona desert during summer was always the worst time for portraits. I have three different color backdrops. White, black and light blue. I an looking at a few others and I have digital backdrops which I can Photoshop into your photo. If I provide a service that fits your project, and we can work together, I do require a deposit of half down at the start of the project and the balance due when final product is finished. This is mainly if you are want physical prints. I also have a print company which I can link the photos I take for you to buy prints at a very reasonable price. I will work on your senior portraits for high school or college. However, if you are under the age of 18, I do require a parent to be with you at your photo shoot. They must enter into a contract which under state law anyone under 18 cannot do legally.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do offer a standard pricing through my web page, but will sometimes give a total job bid to make it easier on a client's budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I come to my client's home or a location to meet to do my work. I then will return to my home to unload the files and set them up to proof and email to the client. With this being a digital era, I mainly provide digital files as the final product. However, I do offer printed photographs at a reasonable cost and have vendors that have specialty items like albums or photographs larger than 13" x 19" which I can print myself. If my vendor offers me a discount I pass than saving on to you the client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken several courses in photography but that was back when I shot film (still shoot film for some projects). When I got my first digital camera I had a lot of new things to learn which I watch videos and read books. This field is always changing and with progress you must stay as current as possible in this field.
