- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Never hire an attorney based on price because you get what you pay for. Here is what you can expect from me: Consultations are $300.00. I don't provide Free Consultations because they are just sales pitches. In my consultations, you come away with valuable information designed to help you make informed decisions. Prior to the consult, I will provide you with a free copy of my book which can also answer many of your questions as well. Flat fees are available for simple matters and I also intersperse flat rates with hourly rates depending on the task.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goals with new clients are to make them as easy as possible with the process. Divorce can be very nerve racking. My initial goal would be to have them "let go" and let me handle it. As for obtaining information and documents, I have much of it automated so it can be accomplished through online worksheets and a client portal, which is very secure and maintains strict confidentiality.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a Divorce and Family Law Attorney since 1993. I am a Certified Family Law Specialist. I have also been named to SuperLawyers Magazine for the years 2015-2020.
