He came with a second tech on Day 1, and both of them worked more than eight hours with hardly a break for lunch.
Will is very precise with his work but also very humble. He welcomed any questions I had. He was honest if a placement might look off—whether a wall was getting too busy, shelves were too low/close to the couch, or something wasn’t centered. Before drilling, he always asked how we wanted items centered and confirmed spacing between shelves. In our guest room he pointed out that one bookshelf’s tone would clash with the others (the differences weree subtle, but he noticed), then guided us on which shelves would match best. He always offered suggestions which I felt added the perfect finishing touch to our furniture placement, but he was never pushy about it. For example, a couple times he suggested a slightly different placement for a mirror than what I wanted. After he had mounted it and cleaned up, I realized that he was right and when I asked him if he could change the position as he had originally suggested, he did it with absolutely no fuss AND he patched up the old holes. He even picked up new plaster to match our paint color as closely as possible. Every time I asked him for anything, he would say, “ok, no problem.” We wanted to mount a TV and the Amazon bracket we’d bought wasn’t ideal; Will showed us a better and cheaper option at Walmart, we grabbed it while he kept working, and it turned out perfect. Our place was frankly filthy from the move, and he still built all our light-colored pieces without leaving a single smudge. Our corner shelves in the guest room didn’t quite fit the corners; he offered to improvise with some wall plaster to elevate the look. He even helped us with the cord hiders we bought for our entertainment systems and outlet extenders. He stayed until the work was done, carried everything up a flight of stairs, cleaned up after each task, and hauled away all the boxes—enough to fill a one-car garage.
Will’s pricing and estimates are beyond fair. If anything, Will underquoted himself the first day. I had shopped around on Thumbtack and Yelp; his original quote for the first day (with two crew members at work) was roughly half the average estimates we received. At the end of the first day, Will still planned to honor the original price. We were so happy with the quality that we chose to double what he quoted because we really felt like we would be cheating him with the quality and amount of honest work he did that day.
Just as a side note, before hiring this company, I used some AI apps to help figure out exactly how I wanted to furnish the rooms so I already had an idea of where I wanted things mounted and I showed Will these pictures. Our home looked much smaller without furniture compared to how it looks now and thats because wall mounting furniture gives a room a lot of depth and saves floor space. I would HIGHLY recommend Will if you’re thinking about wall mounting furniture. It’s so incredibly important that it’s done right. Everything Will mounted was perfectly leveled, spaced, and aligned. On top of that, Will improvised for somethings using his own nails that were longer or stronger with things that I would have never even thought to do if I were to assemble it myself. For example, for our drop leaf table in the guest room, he used his own bolts and materials to attach it to the wall so it could be more sturdy and take on more weight.
For reference, in the photos, EVERY single piece of furniture either on the wall or on the ground was assembled or mounted by Will. Before Will came to our apartment, all we had was an air mattress. The pictures don't even show everything Will's team assembled. For example, I couldn't attach a picture of our patio furniture.
