- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I estimate your projects hours which typically include: Initial Consultation, Developing Comps, Feedback & Revisions. I bill 60 an hour. If a job takes less time. I bill less. If a job looks like it might take more time, I notify the client to be sure they want to move forward. I keep a very transparent billing process. Return clients always get a 10% discount and usually several comped hours in addition.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work with the client via phone, email or in person to understand their design needs. We outline the work requested in a detailed proposal. Both parties agree to the proposal before moving forward. Request partial down payment before I begin work usually using Paypal. This is all outlined in the proposal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken additional fine art courses at Emory as well as several design courses at The Art Institute. I run a large art group in the East Bay. We get together monthly. We have open sketching as well as specific lessons.
