About this pro
I was lucky to meet Jess in a business mixer a couple months ago. After learning what she did and measuring my needs upcoming I asked her if she would like to do a few little projects for me. She has accomplished those and I am looking forward to having her complete a few other projects for me. Not easy to find people you trust. I knew from when I met her that I would love to work with this talent. She’s awesomeMar 23, 2018JESSICA W.'s reply
Thanks Joe! I had fun working on your project too! :)
Jessica is a true innovator and talented artist. Shes a genuine inspiration for getting people involved in every aspect of art. She started an art meet-up group when she first arrived in Alameda and with her husband, Wesley, set up an art studio and established a vibrant Alameda art scene, all in less than two years. Alameda is fortunate to have her. Lets do what we can to keep her here!Aug 10, 2014
Jessica exudes creativity. I have had the honor of knowing her for countless years and she has not only inspired me in my own aspirations but has help shape me in viewing the world in a different way. Her openness has enlighten me to new and exciting things I would not have known, had she not cared enough to share her guiding light. She is always a pleasure to work with and an incredible mentor.May 20, 2014

Jessica's work is fresh, sophisticated and versatile. I worked with Jessica at Star 94 Radio and counted on her creativity to breathe life into client promotions. She delivered every time. She served as Star 94's inhouse one woman creative department and graphic artist. She designed not only for client and station promotions but had 100% responsibility of the website design. She is not only gifted but a pleasure to work with.May 17, 2014

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I estimate your projects hours which typically include: Initial Consultation, Developing Comps, Feedback & Revisions. I bill 60 an hour. If a job takes less time. I bill less. If a job looks like it might take more time, I notify the client to be sure they want to move forward. I keep a very transparent billing process. Return clients always get a 10% discount and usually several comped hours in addition.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I work with the client via phone, email or in person to understand their design needs. We outline the work requested in a detailed proposal. Both parties agree to the proposal before moving forward. Request partial down payment before I begin work usually using Paypal. This is all outlined in the proposal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have taken additional fine art courses at Emory as well as several design courses at The Art Institute. I run a large art group in the East Bay. We get together monthly. We have open sketching as well as specific lessons.
