- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge based on the forms required to complete tax returns. Most of my client's get a discount when payment is made at time of service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to send the client a checklist before the appointment to review and compile for their appointment. Getting to know who they are personally as well as professionally/ This gives me an understanding of the clients lifestyle so i can identify things they may be able to deduct. Reviewing the prior year return to see what they have done in the past as well as to see if any deductions were missed. This could potentially lead to an amended return creating a refund or reduction in amount owed. Once we have decided the client is ready to proceed we complete the return. This can be done at the clients home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes I attend trainings , online updates from IRS and continuing education courses. I enjoy reading the publication 17.
