Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: If you need it fixed or fabricated, I've got an idea for it. It can be as simple as installing a shelf or fixing a doorknob, or we can solve your kitchen storage problem with a piece of custom furniture. In all my work, I use quality materials. They look so much better, and they're vital to a successful project's longevity. Compared to the cheap alternative, good wood, paint or hardware costs more but is always less expensive than building it twice. I want your project to last, so I'll always use the good stuff. When in your home, I'll always treat it with respect and have safety in mind. I'll arrive on time and keep a clean workspace. Specialties and services are the following: custom furniture, furniture restoration and repair, woodworking, household carpentry, MIG welding, and chainsawing.

Daniel helped my boyfriend and I design, plan, and install our very own Juniper 2-person desk. After interesting for weeks, we knew what we wanted, we basically had the look and feel in our mind's eye but Daniel helped us make it a reality. Those snags you ALWAYS hit in DIY project? Daniel basically made those disappear because he knows what he's doing. Your project will go from DIY level to perfection, and fast. Measurements, tools, wood, piping, bracing. He created a list of what we'd need and where to go for the best wood. After consulting with him on which stain to use and how best to sand, we bought everything, sanded and stained on our own (to say we did!) but when it came to installing we relied heavily on his expertise. We could not have done it without him. The wood we chose for the desk is heavy and Daniel braced and mounted the desk so beautifully. With Daniel's help, we decided to create an affect of floating on one side, and on the other, the industrial piping that we sanded down for an even more industrial look. We love it. It's sturdy. It's everything we wanted and more. And its unique, not just some Ikea thing. He's affordable, kind, collaborative, and creative. Look no further!

Daniel has done a number of projects for me, including constructing fences and a trellis, refinishing an antique dining table and chairs, and installing cupboards and shelves. His quality of his work is excellent. He has great technical skills and is also honest and diligent. He keeps work areas clean and is on time for appointments. I recommend him highly.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I do lots of restoration carpentry. A home is constantly under pressure from wear, weather and time, so things get loose, come apart, rot, or otherwise give up the ghost. I get the call when that little annoyance of a stuck drawer becomes a big one! Other times, the wear and tear needs to be fixed so the problem doesn't get bigger. A slow leak under a sink may seem like a small issue, but it can become a bigger problem fast and cause a lot of damage.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It's great when a prospective client can give me a lot of information about a project: the age of their house or apartment, the materials involved, and exact dimensions. It's my goal to find out exactly what the client would like done, and what special tools or materials might be required before I arrive, so I can quote the project accurately and get the project done swiftly.
