FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't have a 'complicated' pricing system; it's based on average rates for the type of work I do and adjusted to make my pricing more competitive. I have a flat rate of $75 minimum for any writing job because of my experience and because of the time involved with producing any type of written work, including edits and revisions. Most of the clients who hire me have done comparisons and already know that they're getting a great rate for the quality of work I produce. Additionally: I do charge for mileage and tolls for in-person consults within the San Francisco Bay Area (usually 24 cents per mile) and I charge $10 additional for out of state orders regardless of the cost of the project. That's simply to cover for processing payments and delays involved with that process.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I go the extra mile and then some. Getting paid for my work is great, but providing people with something that actually enhances their career, image, or job prospects is even better. I love knowing that what I do has a positive impact on others' lives. Happy clients are also the best kind of (word-of-mouth) advertising.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently working to upgrade my graphics and presentation skill sets as well as digital marketing.
