While teaching Special Ed. students, the decision was made to attend Clown College and then spend the remaining time of Summer break to tour with a famous circus. From there, the company expanded to include original characters as well as Santa and the Easter Bunny. PDA even became models for a famous clown artist who created portraits as well as figurines. PDA has sent their entertainers all over Southern California, as well as Wisconsin, Florida, and even the Bahamas! After years of success in Southern California, they moved the company to West Texas.

I have had the pleasure of working with PDA Productions quite a few times. As an Event Coordinator working with professional vendors is essential to the success of my events. Rick has MC'd many picnics for me. Each time the guests were thoroughly entertained and the day went smoothly. He also performed magic as the guests arrived. Rick and Kelley have MC'd bingo games at shopping centers for me for over 8 years. Each year the guests returned because of Rick and Kelley's interaction with them. Rick - as Pretzel - has been the sole entertainment at many children's birthday parties I've coordinated and my client's always said he exceeded their expectations. We had Rick do a magic show for a party we hosted for some business associates at a restaurant. He instantly captivated everyone's attention and had the whole group eating out of his hand. It was not an easy audience but he pulled off. Imagine how surprised they all were when the $20 bills he had done magic with all night ended up inside one of the dinner rolls. Great Job Rick! Pretzel is the perfect clown to have for your party. He is energetic, fun and friendly. He can do magic ,face painting and makes great balloon animals. He loves to entertain children.

We had been waiting for our granddaughter to be of an age where her friends would appreciate a clown. Pretzel and Kritters were awesome. The magic show (with a bunny) was a huge hit. Kritters did face painting and Pretzel did balloon hats and balloon animals. They arrived on time and kept 40 kids engaged for over an hour. Both have the amazing ability to charm children. My wife and I could not have been happier with the joy they gave the kids and parents, and the pride our granddaughter had in seeing her little friends have a great time. The 5-star rating is "outstanding", but we would give it 6 starts for "spectacular".

Critters & pretzel the clowns preformed at my som's 4th birthday party. Fun was had by all. They did face painting which was exceptionally fantastic. They made the most amazing balloons animals I'd ever seen. Even a monkey in a palm tree. Then to finish it off they did a magic show complete with white bunny. I would highly recommend them for party entertainment. All ages loved our party even though it was a children's party all ages had fun. Also they were very professional in there dealing and where prompt. I also just remembered I hired Kelly to come toy sons pre school as the Easter bunny the kids went wild.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We understand that there are cheaper ways to entertain a crowd. However, there isn't a BETTER way than to have a live entertainer! We compare our performances to transportation. You could take the local bus, or you could drive a new Cadillac! We are the Cadillac of family style entertainment!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss with each customer what is the BEST form of entertainment based upon their needs. We design a program that will fit their requirements and their budgets. We send a confirmation with a deposit requirement and follow up with a thank you note after the performance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduate of Clown College plus 50+ years of study of the art of magic, illusion and misdirection.
