- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Shanda has a BA in Child Development and Psychology with an emphasis in Art 2-D. Her graduated work was complete with a Masters Degree in Psychology. She has certification in the following: Certified Masseuse in Sports, TMJ and Deep Tissue, Reiki Master and Teacher, ADHD, Behavior Analysis, Crisis Intervention, RBT Training, and Trauma with Children. Shanda has professionally worked with children and their families for over 20 years. This expertise allow her to create mindful engagement to promote a collaborative approach to any task. This training and experience has lead to the starting of two companies shandaephotography LLC and shandaeholistic LLC
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Shanda has always had a love for animals, art, and problem solving. Early in life, she began working with many children that displayed behaviors (e.g. tantrums, physical aggression, etc). This early on patience was cultivated and guided Shanda to provide baby-sitting service as a young teenager. These services always incorporated creative activities centered around art. The passion for animals, art, and problem solving lead to a life time of working with children in many arenas. Hence, the birth of shandaephotography LLC and shandaeholistic LLC.
