- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common jobs are in home jobs were my clients computers have slowed down with time and they are looking to get some increased performance out of their old computers. There are number of thing I will do for them. First, I make sure they aren't running any extra software that they don't need. All the little programs that run down on the system tray by the clock eat up system resources like hungry hyenas. (Seriously, have you ever seen a hungry hyena? Its scary.) Second, if the computer is a few years old and the operating system hasn't ever been reinstalled, I will backup all my clients files and re-install the OS. Finally, sometimes the best course of action is simply to add some RAM to the system. In almost every scenario there is something that can be done to speed up my clients computers.
