Introduction: If you are looking for a colorful landscape, I'm your girl. I pick interesting plants that you simply don't see everywhere. I like green but it is never the focus of my jobs. You will only find color. My tagline is "Where color counts!" I love what I do. it doesn't matter if it's moving mud or planting. I build fences, decks, and structures incidental to a landscape. Sue is a ripoff and cheapster. At first she is the nicest and most helpful person ever. She verbally promised so much and said she will do this and that. Once you sign the contract then she is another person. All the stuff I wanted she told me she have to add on more cash. So I ended up not getting those things which I had to do out of pocket. And let me tell you, the work was horrible!!! She didn’t want to put any weed barrier. And she didn’t even want to cut the tree roots! There was gonna be hard lumps on the ground!! I told her she NEEDS to take those tree roots out and she finally did. I had to check up her and her workers or else they would miss things. They hardly used any nails and gave me extra nails “to do it myself”. The worst part is that she USED THE WRONG SAND! I told her it’s wrong and she said to “TRUST HER”. It was gravel sand which had sharp rocks in them. She ended up VACUUMING the whole turf because I wasn’t gonna pay for it, the vacuuming didn’t suck it all up. I’m still finding sharp rocks in my turf. She said “that’s best she can do”. It’s been a month and I still have to fix the turf myself by adding more nails and more turf sand. The turf lays back down and I have to keep fluffing it up. And I’m still not happy. I have a 2 year old that wants to roll around in the turf, I’m still scared a sharp rock might cut her! BEWARE EVERYONE. Reach out to me if you don’t believe me. I wouldn’t recommend Sue to anyone.

I don't specifically what "stuff" he wanted or would have provided it. Weed barrier is an extra, does not come with the job. Never has. There are 2 ways to nail something, around the edges or everywhere. I chose to nail around the edges. Yes, I did use the wrong infill but did he tell you that I removed all of it AT MY COST AND PUT IN NEW INFILL. No he missed that. Tree roots are dangerous to take out because if you take out too many the tree can fall over, that is why I didn't take them out. If the child has been playing on it the turf will lay down especially in the heat. Oh and did he mention I gave him terms to pay the balance and I had to pester him to get my money? Lesson well learned, don't ever give terms. I'll give him the fact I used the wrong infill but did vacuum it all out and replace it.

Sue responded quickly. We set up an appointment and she let me know when she was on her way. She was very open and honest about what could be done and what should be done. She explained what was going on with our sprinklers. Very happy with her work. Thank you!

Dumbfounding that Sue came to my home March 14th and spend many hours with me to be able to bid a $10,000+ project that required very detailed matching of a retaining wall. Unfortunately, after 75 days and the coronavirus pandemic she could not find the matching wall blocks, apparently. So, had to go with the two other bids from Bella Turf and Santini Landscaping that COULD find matching wall blocks. Sue is a nice person and a plethora of knowledge on planting plants for the region and might be okay if, you have a clean slate backyard to start with. Not recommended for complex and/or engineering related projects.

Its unfortunate that this happeneds. I did go to the manufacturer of the retaining wall block and pavers and they did not help. I hope one of these other LARGE landscapers can find the right size block for Kyle.
