- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Originally I was only certified to work on animals, mostly horses. I loved it. The owners of the animals started calling me saying they were so impressed with the difference in their horses they wanted me to also work on them. At first I refused, but then I realized I could help horse and rider. From there my practice grew to what it is today. I'm still loving it!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My clientele comes from all walks of life. Homemakers, teachers, firefighters, lease enforcement, medical professionals, lawyers, truckers, cosmetologists, you name it. I've worked on people of every age, from infancy to elderly. Of course, I can't forget the bodies that set me on this path so I still work on animals once in a while..
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you don't come away from a session feeling like something positive has just been done for you, find another massage therapist to try. Not every therapist's technique is right for every body they work on.
