- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard rate for Desktop Support is $75 an hour with a minimum charge of $75 per call. My minimum basic rate for a simple web site is $1,250 plus $300 for the first 6 months of maintenance & support. I usually discount my rates for repeat customers and referrals. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work with my client to assess the issue(s) and make recommendations about how to best provide solutions to those issues. I may do the work at your place of business or residence or may bring your technology to my office to address anomalies. When I have provided the solution(s), I invite the client to test their technology to see that all is working to their satisfaction. At FavaWorks, we go the extra mile to find solutions to our client’s technical concerns.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have decades of experience working at medium and large public sector Data Centers in the capacity of Help Desk Support providing information technology, PC repair, telecommunications and web development services to various state agencies. I own & operate FavaWorks, a local desktop support and web design company. Since 1998, we have been providing PC support and web development services to the private sector. Nearly four decades of hands on experience is complimented by participating in many technical educational opportunities.
