- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a auto mechanic for many years but also had a passion for welding and fabrication. I became tired of the dishonesty and drama of working at a auto dealership, so I signed up at our local college for welding classes and became a certified welder and pushed on with my new trade, it has been one of my best decisions in life, I love what I do!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My favorite project was the 1932 Hornet II wooden boat, we restored the aluminum top that was originally done by Howard Hughes, what a challenge and learning experience that was! The world two Bomber airplane was a very cool project to be apart of. It came to use in 36 pieces and we put it together like a big model airplane, and when we completed the forward fuel silage it was sent to a museum. Also t
