She was able to take my skills and put them in a concise manner so that a recruiters can easily scan and see pertinent information. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since I offer a broad range of services, it really depends on the specific project, which I discuss with my client.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first like to meet with them generally at a coffee shop, and ask them some questions about their project objectives, deadlines, expectations, etc. Before I begin writing anything, I try to get to know my clients and ensure that I understand their "big picture."
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have experience as a reporter, working in corporate communications, and grant writing for non-profits. I have a BA in Technical Writing from San Francisco State University.
