- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
-Verbally go over documents over the phone and provide accurate quote for services. Also confirm acceptable forms of ID will be provided by signers. -Confirm day, time, and location of signing - At signing, inspect forms of ID and write required info in notary journal making sure names match on the documents. Have signers sign and thumbprint journal as required by law. - Walk signers through documents as needed making sure the document is filled out correctly and completely. - Watch signers sign each document. - Complete the notary section of the document completely and correctly including the notary seal. - Collect payment and provide receipt.
