Andres is the best! My floors had not been refinished in 20 years and were badly yellowed and sun-damaged in spots. Andres worked patiently with me to sample stain colors that had a grayer tone than the original, finding the balance I was seeking by creating a custom mix. He and his team sealed off cabinets, counters, bookcases and carpeted areas, and did a great job cleaning up the inevitable dust. They even helped move the heaviest pieces of furniture. The stairs proved especially difficult to refinish and match to the new floor, but Andres went above and beyond, experimenting and re-working until I was satisfied. He is professional, respectful, punctual and extremely hardworking. You can't ask for more. Thank you, Andres! I will be calling you anytime I need floor work done!

I reached out to Península Custom floors for a floor refinishing project for the whole house. Andres came over to my house soon after and provided a reasonable quote. The whole project took one week (the house was 1800 square feet). Andres professionally took care of everything, and I can't be happier with the results. My 15-year-old maple wood floors look new! Andres was also able to accommodate my special request of painting a few handrails for a reasonable price. At the end of the project, Andres and his crew cleaned up the whole house. The whole experience was very smooth. I highly recommend Península Custom floors.

I give Peninsula Custom Floors 10 out of 5, I was that impressed. The floors came out beautifully. First, the bid was very reasonable. Their reviews were great and I didn't feel like there was higher price just for being in San Francisco. Andres explained the process well. He and Alberto worked INCREDIBLY hard and each day left the job site clean and organized. When one of the rooms ran into trouble because the old floor tile glue had damaged the wood, Andres went way beyond what was expected to complete the job and make us happy. He was always professional, knowledgable and finished the job exactly when he said he would. I could tell they are very detail oriented and take pride in doing quality work. I feel very lucky to have found them and our old beat up floors have a new life and look amazing.
