I have taken two lessons from Dannielle at Graceland Equestrian Center and have been very satisfied and glad that I was put in connection with her. Her teaching style one on one is great and I love her continual instruction during my lessons and her desire to want me to improve as much as I do myself. I can tell that she takes pride in teaching her lessons and tries to make it fun for her younger riders by doing special monthly "events" and equipment quizzes and more. The facility itself is beautiful and all of the people I've met are just the nicest bunch. Would recommend her to anyone looking for lessons!

I loved my experiences at Vescera Show Stables! Dina is kind and easy going-she makes riding and the barn fun. I have moved on as a professional jockey at the racetrack and I credit Dina and her experience combined with her teaching ablilty for a lot of my success. She teaches the foundations needed to go on in this business. I would recommend her to riders of any level-everyone can benifit from her. Can't say enough good things about her-shes a trainer, a rider, a teacher, and a worker!!

Assistant trainer here! Kelly is literally the best boss ever. Her training and riding skills are impeccable. Her teaching, riding, and horsemanship skills not only are affective, but she always explains why and how they are affective. I have only been here a year and not only have I learned more about teaching and training, I have learned what it feels to be surrounded by individuals that make coming to the barn feel like your escape from reality. This is my second family! The horses are in top quality care here and saftey is number one when it comes to our team.

Megan is awesome at what she does! No matter your experience level she is able to accommodate riders of all ages. I had not rode a horse since I was about 10, so I was a little nervous, but Megan made it so much fun and eased my nerves! She has several horses that will accommodate riders of all ages.

Because I do not have a huge client load,I am able to spend plenty of quality time with the few. I am available by phone to answer questions and give advise. I have many years of working with beginning riders-from children to the older adult that now has time and money to learn to ride. I have over fifty years of experience and have seen just about everything, so I am not afraid to tell my clients the truth. If you need help finding a family horse, managing a new horse or overcoming fear on a current horse, I can probably help you. What I will do : Give you tools to be knowledgeable. Help you understand a horses mind. Teach you proper Horsemanship skills. What I do NOT do : I do not start colts. I do not have schooling horses. We use your own animals. I do not use gimmicks such as orange sticks,or special halters

About

Clay Jackson Stables offers coaching from fundamental equitation to the advanced technical aspects of showjumping. Set in a private, quiet setting surrounded by vineyards, Clay Jackson teaches the American forward seat system for hunters, jumpers and equitation riders. With over 35 years of training many hundreds of horses, not only starting them, but also taking them through the upper level competitive circuit programs. Clay Jackson can provide you a wealth of information as a rider and/or horse owner well beyond the average "trainer" (riding coaches) so plentiful today! Clay Jackson derived his knowledge from a real "lifetime" of participation in the equestrian life. Born into a breeding, training and show family, it came natural to follow the business of horses! Showing and placing in 1965 as young 5-year old in "equitation" classes, later in the hunters and continuing now to compete in showjumping. Having trained extensively with some of the best in the world such as "Rich Fellers" 2012 Showjumping World Cup champion and Olympic team member, George Morris the hunter/jumper icon of this century to several of the world's elite jumper and dressage riders and clinicians of this century, Clay Jackson passes on this wealth of information in well-executed training program. For those wishing to compete, there are several local "A" circuit to international shows available to participate in. Come join 'Team Jackson" and succeed!

About

I am a horse trainer. I will come to your facility to help you with your riding skills, horsemanship, and training. I have 23 years experience in training young riders and horses to level II dressage, combined training: training level, and hunter/jumpers (3'6), gaited exhibitions, as well as endurance rides. I have managed facilities and shows, and shown two in hand in driving competitions as well as driven sleigh rides. The basics of horsemanship are similar across the range of riding styles; students love working with me because they learn not only how to ride, but how to understand what is going on and be proactive, so problems don't happen. Horses succeed from patience, understanding and continuity. I teach from basics to finesse like a whisper, if you want to know how to communicate with your horse, so you are a team, then I would love to help you learn.
