Introduction: We offer more options for the consumer; we educate customers we see fit to do business with. In short we are a Certified Green Building Professional and have been on the eco-friendly track from way back in the 1990's. Green is not always more costly, lack of education is. We offer a complimentary telephone consult/estimation to determine feasibility/compatibility with our clients. Site visits are a paid service and are made by the experienced Chief Technician of our boutique business. A good deal of our restoration oriented projects are billed on a Time and Materials basis as we regularly are called upon to correct faulty existing work by other parties/circumstances. Honestly, we love fixing things and beautifying the environment. This means we just enjoy helping people who appreciate our efforts.

It has been great to work with Sustainable Roofing Solutions. They did a great job repairing and re-vitalizing my wood shake roof. I prefer the look of shake to composite. Rather than spend three times as much on a new roof Sustainable made my existing roof as good as new. I've had people stop by and ask me who put on my new roof. It has been eight years now, the roof looked great for the first five years; it still looks tidy. I've never had had a single problem. I have seen other roof restorations in my neighborhood, none of them have stood the test of time like my roof. In addition to the roofing, Sustainable repaired existing dry rot and replaced some siding. All of the work was quality. Kasra, the owner, even comes by my house now and then and checks on the roof. My complete exterior restoration and paint project is due soon, Sustainable Roofing Solutions will be my contractor.

We recommend you consider a mini-restoration at the 10 year mark to sustain the current roof with a lower impact on our surroundings.

Kasra at Sustainable Roofing Solutions was fantastic. We bought our house two years ago from a contractor who flipped the house. When doing the pre-buy inspection it was noted the roof had cheap repairs and may need to be replaced sooner than later. We asked Kasra to conduct a more thorough inspection. He provided us three different options for repair (limited repairs to full replacement) and fully explained the details including the prices of each effort. Kasra could have easily recommended a full roof replacement, after all thats what we told we needed when buying the house. Rather he was able to identify what was needed to prolong the life of our current roof, save us from a larger expense, and help us from being wasteful (replacing and buying a full roof worth of materials). Kasra repaired poorly constructed flashing, replaced drip edges, added flashing to locations where it should have been in the first place, replaced broken shingles, fixed loose gutters, removed and replaced poorly affixed mastic and painted (flashing & collars). His attention to detail is impeccable and a welcomed characteristic in a contractor. After all the work was done he conducted a tour/review of the repairs, asked if we were satisfied with each portion and where appropriate educated us on how we can conduct future maintenance. As a new homeowner, we absolutely felt we made the right decision by working with Kasra and Sustainable Roofing Solutions, not only are the completed repairs going to provide about another ten years to our roof but also the education he imparted empowered us for the future.
