Hey, welcome! Tim here. I'm a very musical human, known for being a friendly and flexible teacher that gets results from my students. I'm a multi-instrumentalist, with my formal training at Berklee in Guitar. I've consistently taught over 20 music students each week for the past 8+ years and I've easily worked with over 100 different families in my time. I'm a father to my 5 year old son and I live and breath music. Infinite music loop in my head? You bet. As an instructor, I provide personalized plans for each of my students success, allowing for relatable lesson plans and content. We're not just working out of a book or focusing on music you hate. That's no fun. As an audio recorder or session musician, I provide the highest quality material, content and services, utilizing top of the line software and hardware to create professional sounds. I am an award-winning songwriter ('17 SDMA) and experienced music producer. Let me help you bring your next song to life!

I've had three guitar lessons with Tim so far, and he's a great instructor! I really appreciate how flexible he is about the material; for example, when I expressed an interest in learning some theory he was eager to add a theory aspect to our lessons. He is very patient and encouraging, but also challenging--in a good way. I did not expect to be learning as much as I am now only 3 lessons in, which is really exciting. The lessons also work well with my schedule and location--he travels to me and is very punctual--which was very important for my needs and convenience as a college student. I would definitely recommend Tim to any student who is willing to practice/learn and also to have fun enjoying learning how to play guitar. :)

Tim was an incredible surprise! This is my third attempt at taking guitar lessons and I've finally achieved success! Tim is an easy going guitar teacher with a great sense of humor and a lot of knowledge about music. He makes learning how to play the guitar fun and easy, without any pressure or guilt. He's very encouraging and I'm actually playing! Even my family has allowed me to play in the same room with them after only 6 months! If you're looking for a guitar teacher, Tim is your man. He rocks - sorry, had to say it!

Tim is an absolutely amazing artist and teacher. Teaches to your understanding and pace. Breaks the lessons down into guitar theory, scales, and the basics. Teaches you what you want to learn. Not only is he a good teacher but a good friend as well.

Tim's the man - seeing him once a week is really helping me develop. He figures out where your at skill-wise and custom tailors his lessons to your ability. Also takes into account the music you want to learn. Hes got my recommendation.
