Introduction: We deliver appraisal reports that exhibit professionalism. Nelson N. Stewart is an MAI and SRA member of the Appraisal Institute. He is also a member of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA). We provide appraisal reports for private clients and governmental agencies on a variety of properties that include luxury residences, multifamily, commercial, industrial, large and vacant land tracts and conservation easements. Find out how long the Appraiser has been in business. Ask the appraiser to provide you with a copy of his or her qualifications. Ask for at least two references (banks, attorneys, government agencies, etc.). Make sure the Appraiser is very familiar with the geographic area in question and the subject real estate market. Ask the Appraiser how many appraisal assignments he or she has completed in your area within the last couple years.
