I had an excellent experience with this HVAC company and would absolutely recommend them.
Before contacting them, I had another HVAC company come out and charge a service fee to diagnose the problem. That company told me the motor was grounded/broken and needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, despite several calls asking for an estimate so I could have them complete the repair, they never provided one and stopped returning my calls.
I decided to find another HVAC company and contacted this one. Based on the first company’s diagnosis, I had already purchased a replacement motor so it would be ready for installation. The motor was supposed to arrive the day before my scheduled appointment, but the delivery was delayed until the day of the appointment. I called this company to explain the situation, and they were incredibly accommodating. They told me to call as soon as the motor arrived and that they would do their best to get a technician out the same day.
The motor arrived, I called them, and they had a technician at my home within about two hours.
What impressed me even more was what happened next. Instead of simply replacing the motor because that was what the previous company had diagnosed, the technician properly tested the system and determined that the motor was not the problem at all — the control board was the actual issue.
He gave me a fair price to replace the control board and even offered to drive out, pick up the correct part, return, and install it that same day. He did exactly that, and my HVAC system was back up and running.
The technician (Ben, I think) was professional, clean, knowledgeable. He also went beyond the original repair and checked several other things while he was there. He tested the refrigerant level in the A/C system, showed me the actual readings on his instruments, explained what the readings should be, and gave me a price to add refrigerant. I appreciated being able to actually see the measurements and understand why the service was needed, so I had him take care of that as well.
He also checked the A/C capacitor and inspected the thermostat connections because the thermostat had previously been replaced by another technician and I wasn't confident it had been installed correctly.
Communication with this company was equally impressive. Every time I called, they answered right away and were professional and helpful. When I texted them, they responded quickly as well. Their pricing was very fair, their professionalism was extremely high, and they were willing to work around several unexpected hurdles to get the job completed.
It is refreshing to deal with a company that communicates well, properly diagnoses the problem instead of simply replacing parts, explains what they are doing, charges fair prices, and genuinely works to get the customer taken care of.
Fantastic company, fantastic service, and absolutely deserving of 5 stars. I highly recommend them and wish there were more companies that operated this way.
