FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I actually offer 3 distinct type of services. Depending on the event, space available, location of event, time allowed, etc.. Temporary Food Booth means onsite cooking via my mobile kitchen for events. I have done events such as farmers market, market nights, festivals, camp ground events, etc. This is great for parties of 100 to 500. If your residence has the space for me to park my 10' trailer, you can have me set up for your private party as well. Private Catering means I will cook and serve for your special event. The food is usually prepared offsite and simply warmed and served onsite, but not always. I can cook onsite if you prefer. I will do the shopping, menu planning, staging the food, serving of food, tear down of staging. This is the preferred service for private events such as dinner parties of 2 to 50. Private Chef & Food Consultant means regular daily, weekly or monthly services. Some households need a little help in the kitchen. There may simply not be enough time to do home cooking every day. Rather than eating out or get delivery, I can do the grocery shopping and come to your home to prepare the food for meals to be served later. Such services are generally for parties of 1 to 10.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would suggest thinking about the food first and foremost. You want to make sure they offer the level of service you need. Price is the final deciding factor. Staying within your budget will make the entire process less stressful. Meeting the caterer in person will give you the best idea whether or not they are the right one for the job. After all, breaking bread together should be done amongst friends!
