- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A better way to do business is establishing a set price before work begins. Hourly rates get expensive fast, and there is less incentive for the tradesmen to work with urgency.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am a design build professional; my vast experience is in residential construction and remodeling. The best way to form a new professional relationship is to meet the client directly, and discuss their project in a brief 30 minute meeting. Smaller projects of course may not need the meet and greet, but my business is marketing high quality professionalism, and myself, and so I see it as important to meet in person.
